As Georgia’s Fifth Congressional District Representative, I am pleased to send greetings and congratulations to the New Times Culture and Education Center as you celebrate the Chinese New Year Spectacular on Friday, December 19, 2008.
I regret that it is not possible for me to share this wonderful event filled with Chinese classical dance and true traditional Chinese culture with you. However, I think it is fitting, proper and appropriate for us to pause and take note of the outstanding part the Chinese community has played in America’s multicultural society while maintaining your cherished traditional values and the Chinese cultural heritage.
